The GSA is comprised of the two paralegal associations in the State of New Jersey, The Paralegal Association of New Jersey (PANJ) and the South Jersey Paralegal Association (SJPA). Each association President sits on the GSA Board and is granted the privilege of one vote. All elected Board members of the affiliated associations are non-voting members of the GSA. For the past thirteen years, the GSA has provided New Jersey's paralegals and paralegal students with an educational convention.
In the past the GSA has come together to discuss matters that impact our profession throughout the State.
This is an exciting time to be part of the paralegal profession, especially in New Jersey. We have achieved many successes, but there are many challenges still ahead. By joining a local affiliated association, you not only bring new ideas and a fresh perspective, but you also add strength to our profession. Membership in a paralegal association also offers you countless advantages, such as networking and access to continuing legal education.
If you are not a member of an affiliated association, please take a minute to speak with the representatives of the associations who attend the convention or visit their respective websites. Links to the websites can be found on the main page.
By joining an association, you will be adding strength and commitment to the paralegal profession, which will enable us to meet the challenges of the new millennium!
